First I must say, Happy Thanksgiving! I can’t tell you how much I have looked forward to this day. But, I digress.
Just wanted to drop a quick note about something different on The Ever-Changing Thought as of, well, now. I have disabled requiring you to add your email address in order to leave comments.
I will have to see how well this works out. If I start to receive a bunch of spam comments, I will most likely have to re-enable this, or add a layer of validation. Remains to be seen. But for now, for those that were concerned, enjoy the change. For those that don’t care, enjoy the change anyway.

I tried this about a month ago and the funny thing is that my comment count has increased but I don’t think I have received a comment yet that did not include an email address.
I am not sure if the increase was just a coincidence, but it was immediate and noticeable. I would love to hear how things work out for you.

@luke – I saw that you had tried that. I had been thinking about it and you encouraged me to go ahead with my thoughts. I will let you know! Have you had any more or less problems with “spam” or anything like? Being thankful for readers and comments, it seemed to only make sense to “open it up.”
