Tornado Warning is in effect for your county/city/town right now! Seek shelter immediately!
What just went through your mind?
Kinda scares me a bit when I see those words now-a-days. Tornadoes have been in the forefront of folks mind around here today. People seem to be a bit on edge, understandibly so.
The possiblity of such weather has been talked about a lot this week. Today, there was a good chance we might see some of that rough weather. We were put under a tornado watch early in the day until 2AM tomorrow.
I went to the barber shop and the barber said that at 3:00pm, which is when the rough weather was moving in and around our area, his business died off…fast. The threat of weather had folks close to their shelter of choice. They were getting prepared for what might be coming.
Then, there is this.
What I’m about to share is a warning of sorts. But, there is a 100% chance that this will affect you. There is no “might happen” to this warning. It will happen. We have been put under a watch for several years now and it has never been lifted.
Here is the “whether” report: (whether your ready or not)
“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare” (1 John 3:1o)
Seek shelter immediately! (that’s mine)

Funny how so many are concerned about saving their “physical bodies”, but don’t think twice to save their “spiritual ones”. Our life in our physical bodies is very brief, but our life after our bodies die, will be eternal……
Which is all the more reason to start taking “shelter” in Christ…..

Hi Scott – I’ve never lived in an area where we’ve had to seek shelter due to tornadoes or hurricanes, but have had to evacuate due to wild fires. It’s quite scary.
With regard to your second “warning”, my first thought is, “we need to have our House in order”.
