]]> By: Duncan http://tecthought.com/2010/01/09/waking-up-is-hard-to-do/comment-page-1/#comment-10910 Duncan Sun, 10 Jan 2010 03:04:33 +0000 http://tecthought.com/2010/01/09/waking-up-is-hard-to-do/#comment-10910 dreaming of sword fighting - have you been at my house lately... the kids are watching the 3 muskies frequently... after my throat surgery - i woke in the ICU... my throat killed... i realized i was in the ICU as i said my throat hurts (not that nicely i'm sure)... then the nurse said she'd up the morphine... did i mention i should have been in the outpatient recovery room not the ICU and on morphine... yeah i freaked... the nurse and i had a laugh after i realized i wasn't "in trouble" but rather my surgery ended late and the ICU was where the beds were available... i can laugh now - but those first few minutes after waking from being knocked out for 4/5 hours... well...
